re: Install- Adult Confirmation
How many of us went through Confirmation, but have since forgotten almost everything we learned? How many of us were far too immature at the time of our Confirmation for any of what we learned to matter? How many of us have come to faith as adults, or were raised in a different faith tradition? Probably…a lot.
re:Install is your chance to explore the foundations of the faith—for the first time or the thousandth—and make connections as to why and how it matters in your own life. The goal is that you walk away with a deeper understanding of the concepts we take for granted in our life as a church (theology, Bible knowledge, sacraments) and that, at the end of our time together, you are better able to articulate what you believe and why it matters.
Who is it for? Anyone older than 16 who wants to keep learning and growing in their faith!
What is the commitment? 7 weeks—one Wednesday a month from October 2024 to May 2025 (with no class in March). There will be readings and light assignments given in between sessions. Classes will meet on the third Wednesday of each month, from 7:00-8:15 PM. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be invited to a dinner at Pastor Ashley’s house, and will be given the opportunity to affirm their faith in worship on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Where? We will plan to meet in the Fireside Room. The youth room on the lower level will be open, if you have students who will be staying after Confirmation or tagging along and need a place to hang out or finish up homework.
